My Commitment to You

I would be delighted to work with you to help create a unique ceremony that will enhance your special day.
Weddings are a time filled with mixed emotions; they can become stressful at times when you are trying to make all your plans fit together for that one perfect day.

I can guide you to create a moment in time that will be with you forever, as a happy and joyous occasion for you, your family and friends.
I believe ceremonies should always reflect your personality, and the role of your celebrant is to ensure your expectations are fulfilled. I can provide you with the inspiration to create a beautiful day.

There are many options available for you to choose from poetry to readings, or you can write your own words making your event a truly personal one.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you to help create the wedding of your dreams.

How I Will Help You:
• I will work with you to design and carry through all your wishes for the special day.
• I will prepare and lodge all relevant paperwork and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• I will meet with you both as often as required to ensure every detail is covered and you are at ease
• I will conduct your ceremony at your chosen location
• I will provide you with a vast array of resources to help you structure your ceremony

Wedding Legal Steps Involved:
Step One:
• At our first informal meeting we will discuss the type of ceremony you want.  There is absolutely no cost for this initial meeting but I will explain what costs there are.  You get a chance to meet me and decide if you want to proceed.  I will leave you a list of what you will need for our next meeting (birth certificates etc).

Step Two:
• We will meet again and complete the first set of forms which are the ‘Notice of intended Marriage’ – note: this must be done at least one month and one day prior to the ceremony.
• I will provide you with Form 14A ‘Happily Ever….Before and after’.
• I will view and confirm that all your documents are completed as required.
• I will leave you with some ideas on format and content for your ceremony.
• A deposit of $100 will be required at this meeting. Note: the deposit is non refundable if you cancel.

Step Three:
• We will meet again and work on a draft ceremony, with all the points that you want included.
Eg: readings, poems, candles, songs, etc.
By the end of this meeting we should have a draft ceremony completed.

Step Four:
• I will document fully the agreed ceremony and provide you with a copy for you to check and peruse at your leisure and you can advise me of any changes after you have read it thoroughly.
• During this time, you may wish to contact me by phone: 0407 878 238 or email. maxinelinane@gmail.com

Step Five:
• I recommend a week prior to the wedding that we have a rehearsal.  This is the best time to rectify any problems with the ceremony content.  Any changes need to be made at this time.
• At the rehearsal Form 14 ‘Declarations’ need to be completed by both parties to the marriage.
• The final balance is due at the rehearsal.

Step Six:
• On the Wedding Day, I will be at the venue 1 Hour prior to the ceremony to ensure that all preparations are complete.
• Directly following the ceremony 3 Marriage Certificates need to be signed by the couple, their witnesses and celebrant.
• The couple need to have two witnesses over the age of 18 years organised to witness the marriage and sign their paperwork.

Step Seven:
• I will complete and forward all legal documentation to the appropriate authorities within 14 days of the Ceremony.
• I will forward you a Feedback Sheet – If you would kindly complete the form and return it to me. This will provide me with feedback to improve my service to the community;
